The town of Korčula, in the north east of its namesake South Dalmatian island, is quaintly and among best preserved medieval towns on the Croatian coast and further afar in all of the Mediterranean. It is often quite justly referred to as “Little Dubrovnik.” ACI Marina Korčula is situated right next to its historic centre. The town is 130 kilometres from Dubrovnik’s Ćilipi Airport, and in the summer the island has excellent ferry connections to Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula, to Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Lastovo and Hvar, and to Drvenik and the Italian towns of Ancona and Pescara. There are fast catamaran services to Lastovo, Hvar and Split throughout the year and to Dubrovnik in the summer.
