Kalymnos is best described as ‘wild and wonderful’. The scenery is dramatic; the mountains are high, unpredictable and delightful: they are its specialty.

However, it is not only ‘wild’ which dominates here: Kalymnos is well-blended with peaceful, turquoise bays and warm, soul-healing beaches (mostly pebble ones). Nautical heritage lies in its main port Pothia, protected by the great statue of Poseidon.
